Seasonal Vegetable Seedling Production Project is food growing project implemented by Sikharpa Aguwa Krishak Samuha to produce good quality seedling at local level. It was the solution identified to the issue "Low Quality Agriculture Inputs".
The project aims to support local farmers in accessing good quality seedling at minimal price. The designated members of Sikharpa Aguwa Krishak Samuha were provided basic training on seedling production and quality of seeds. The responsible members produce the seedlings and sell to its members and other community people at reasonal price. The project has supported the community people in accessing good quality seedlings. Furthermore, it has increased the organizational fund through the sales of seasonal seedlings.
It is so good to see people demanding our seedling products! We are providing quality seedlings at reasonable price so not only our members but other non-members are also demanding our product. We wish to expand further.
